A s particulate emissions levels legislation has been becoming more and more stringent these last few years, Diesel vehicle must be equipped with diesel particulate filter. Optimizing pressure losses and mastering regeneration phases remain a technical challenge for car conceptors.

Through the use of top-of-the-edge aerosol sizing measurement techniques, CERTAM bring its knowledge in the assessment of the best filtering techniques and optimizing regeneration strategies.

Biofuels

The growing part of "green" fuels (biofuels) into fossil fuel modify consequently the qualitative and quantitative particles production. Monitoring these modifications allows a better knowledge for using post-treatment technologies.
